Japanese harpist, Mai Fukui (bi0) grew up in Sweden and studied with Masayo Matsuo, Atsuko Yoshino, Susann McDonald, and Germaine Lorenzini. Mai was winner of many competitions including:

  • 2007 USA International Harp Competition: Prizewinner
  • 2012 Israel International Harp Contest: 3rd Prize & Mario Falcao Special Prize

Since 2012, Mai has been invited to play at festivals and at many recitals, chamber music and concerto performances in Europe and in Japan.
She will play and share with us (along with orchestra score and CD) in the lecture recital:-

  • Bochsa Zitti Zitti
  • Falla Spanish Dance, la vida breve
  • Walter-Fantasy on the themes from “”Eugene Onegin””
  • and then to conclude, explain about the Glinka piece.
