Hong Kong Celebrations Association's series of activities celebrating celebration of 29th anniversary of establishment of HKSAR
【✨ Shining on the Coliseum Stage! Congratulations to our harp student, Suzette! ✨】
On the evening of June 30th, the launch ceremony for the Hong Kong Celebrations Association's series of activities celebrating celebration of 29th anniversary of establishment of HKSAR, alongside the 「香江奮進啟新程」Cultural Gala, was grandly held at the Hong Kong Coliseum (Hung Hom).
Our talented harp student, Suzette Yuen (袁萱), had the immense honor of taking this prestigious stage. Her performance was a resounding success! 👏
In the opening chapter of the gala, Suzette took center stage as the harpist, collaborating with students from Po Leung Kuk Dr. Jimmy Wong Chi-Ho (Tin Sum Valley) Primary School for a beautiful children's choir performance of the song "The Harbor" (《港灣》). The pure voices of the choir blended flawlessly with the elegant and gentle melodies of the harp, beautifully painting the warmth of Victoria Harbour at night. The atmosphere in the stadium was incredibly heartwarming and moving.
Being able to participate in such a massive celebratory gala and anchor a solo harp performance on a stage as grand as the Coliseum is an incredibly precious and unforgettable experience for Suzette. Seeing you perform with such confidence, poise, and grace—showcasing the fruits of your hard work and practice—all of your teachers couldn't be prouder! ❤️
We hope this performance serves as a powerful inspiration on your musical journey. Keep enjoying the joy that the harp brings you, and we look forward to hearing you play even more moving melodies in the future! 🎼✨
