Events香港豎琴協會將為國際著名豎琴家于丹聯同好友及其學生舉辦每兩年一度的豎琴音樂會。
豎琴在大家的眼中是一個比較遙遠的樂器，所以很多的曲目都有些陌生，而豎琴音樂有時難免會給觀眾一些單調的感覺。
「豎琴萬花筒」系列音樂會的理念志在打破這一刻板印象，讓大家欣賞到這個樂器豐富的聲音，色彩和表現能力，就像五彩繽紛的萬花筒一樣。從法國印象派大師拉維爾的「水中嬉戲」裡面清澈如水晶般的流水，到奧賽羅的妻子唱出柔美悲傷的「柳樹之歌」，再到皮亞左拉熱情的探戈舞曲，引領觀眾探索豎琴的魅力。
由於萬花筒裡面彩色玻璃的位置及觀看的光線總有變化，所以看到的圖像也從來都不是相同的，而帶給人驚喜和期待。本次音樂會演奏的大多是改編曲目，雖然有些大家可能已經熟詳，但當四台豎琴取代鋼琴，五隻口琴取代弦樂四重奏，「告別巴黎］與「鯊魚」被串在一起演奏時，相信這又是一個不同的萬花筒之圖像。
萬花筒這一系列的音樂饗宴，聯同本港眾多其他樂器的佼佼者及于丹的高足們一起發掘豎琴的繽紛，更讓觀眾能夠充份感受到豎琴是一個多姿多彩的樂器， 其表達亦猶如萬花筒。
此次音樂會參與演出的本港著名音樂家，包括長笛家梅根史德琳 (Megan Sterling)， 女中音歌唱家張吟晶及英皇口琴五重奏， 亦會伙同其他本港的著名豎琴家: 梁婉琪，盧悅晴，楊柳依，以及黃士倫共同演出。
于丹是首位在美國國際豎琴大賽奪冠的華人豎琴音樂家，多次於世界各地表演並致力提升香港在國際豎琴領域的地位。她是2017 年香港世界豎琴大會的聯席主席，目前是香港國際豎琴比賽籌委會主席, 香港豎琴堡的音樂總監。除了專注教育工作外，于丹積極參與各種音樂及豎琴的推廣活動，是演奏會的常客。
此次音樂會觀眾還將欣賞到本港一眾年齡由10 歲開始，曾多次在各國際豎琴比賽得獎的後起之秀同台炫技演出。

A biennial harp concert by international renowned harpist Yu Dan, together with her friends and students.
“Harp Kaleidoscope” concert series aim to break the stereotype image of the harp. Audience can appreciate the rich sound, colors and expressive capabilities of the harp, just like a colorful kaleidoscope. From the clear crystal tune water in French Impressionist master Ravel’s “Jeux d‘eau ” to Othello’s singing the soft and sorrow “Willow Song” to Piazzolla’s passionate tango dance music, the audience will be led to explore the charming voice of the harp. The images from the colored glass in the kaleidoscope are never the same, bringing surprises and expectations, just like the repertoires.
Kaleidoscope concert series explores the brilliance of the harp together with many of Hong Kong’s renown musicians and Dan Yu’s students. These include flautist Megan Sterling, mezzo-soprano Zhang Yinjing and the King’s Harmonica Quintet, and other harpists: Melody Leung, Sunshine Lo, Lauyee Yeung, and Ann Huang.
Dan Yu is the first Chinese harpist who won the US International Harp Competition. She has performed around the world and is committed to raise Hong Kong’s status in the international harp world. She was the co-chair of the 2017 Hong Kong World Harp Congress and is currently the Chairlady of the Hong Kong International Harp Competition Organizing Committee and the Music Director of the Hong Kong Harp Chamber. In addition to focusing on harp education, Dan Yu actively performs frequently to promote the harp.
Audiences will witnese a group of Hong Kong’s young rising stars who have won many awards in various international harp competitions, starting from the age of 10.
