Dr Chao is a graduate of Cambridge University and other than being a medical doctor, he has also completed Post-Graduate Advanced Piano Studies at the St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia.

Dr Chao pursued his music studies at the St. Petersburg Conservatory with Professor Leonid Zaitchik, Dean of the Piano and Keyboard Faculty.

Piano students accepted by Dr. Chao will be tutored at the Hong Kong Harp Chamber and have ensemble practice opportunities with musicians of other instruments.
Harp Advisor Angela Yau

Angela is the first harp student in Hong Kong, one of the first generation of local performing harpists and also the first Hong Kong harpist to be invited to perform at the
World Harp Congress in Vienna in 1988.

She studied music at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Tottori University in Tokyo.

Arrangements can be made for Angela to provide special coaching for ensemble performances at the Hong Kong Harp Chamber.
