Harp Learning Support (For All Harpists)
The first musical resource center of its kind in Hong Kong promoting the harp
- Carrying the widest selection of harp music – CDs, books, scores
- As the sole representative and having the widest selection of the world’s top harps, the Chamber offers harp rental and audition opportunities supported by major harp makers
- Providing access to advice on harp resources, such as searching for local and overseas harp education, including music degrees at major music universities in the US, international harp competition, symposiums and events
Overseas Master Class (For Intermediate and Advanced Harpists)
The first overseas master harp course in Hong Kong
- Enable harpists to follow a practice study with overseas masters by video conferencing, including award-winning harpists, harpists from major symphony orchestras
- To improve on specific performing technique, such as scales, trills, arpeggios, trick fingerings
- Similar to a PHD course, course participants can also choose to focus on practicing specific repertoires
Music Ensemble (For Non-harpists and Harpists)
- Ensemble designed for pianists, flutists, violinists or trumpet players to play together with harpists
- The Chamber opens the venue facility to encourage self-initiated ensemble practice or mini-concert performances amongst private groups (such as various professional associations or alumni) or to public groups (such as for a charitable establishment)
- The theme is to promote music as a lifetime enjoyment, relaxation therapy and as a way to connect with people
